Protecting Digital Rights in a World of Multiple Devices


EMERYVILLE, Calif., March 3, 2005 - Orb Networks, Inc., a developer of streaming media software and services, today announced that it will speak and exhibit at iHollywood's Digital Living Room Conference in San Mateo, Calif. on March 7 and 8.

Orb's CEO, James Behrens will present on a panel discussing, "Protecting Digital Rights in a World of Multiple Devices," and will explore how the industry can reconcile Hollywood's interest in protecting content while hardware devices and software applications continue to enable mass content distribution at an ever increasing rate. Vice president of marketing, Joe Harris, will also present on a panel discussing new possibilities in portable video and television enabled by emerging media devices, growing consumer adoption of Internet movie services, new WiFi standards, and other promising technologies.
